Meet the executive committee

Krishna Bachina

I am passionate about helping young people discover their potential, build confidence, and create pathways to success. My journey began by mentoring just five students. Watching each of them grow, overcome challenges, and pursue successful careers in fields such as IT, medicine, and law showed me the powerful impact that guidance, encouragement, and opportunity can have on a young person’s life. Those experiences inspired me to think beyond individual mentorship and create something that could reach more students from diverse communities.

My goal is to create a supportive environment where students can discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, learn from both success and failure, and ultimately use what they have learned to make a difference in the lives of others.

Srineela Mandava

Srineela oversees the financial health of VLEAD, ensuring our resources are effectively allocated to support our volunteer programs and maximize our community outreach.

Swapna manages our communications and operations, keeping our executive committee aligned and ensuring our student volunteers are always informed and engaged.
